Terms of Use
Effective date: August 19, 2026
This policy was drafted to plainly describe how Follow Through Academy actually operates today. It has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on it as your final published terms — especially the billing, liability, and governing-law sections — have it checked by a lawyer familiar with your state's requirements.
Governing law: not finalized yet. Likely Wyoming, possibly Arizona, depending on where the LLC ends up being formed — we'll fill in the actual state once that's settled rather than guessing here.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Follow Through Academy ("FTA," "we," "us") coaching platform at followthroughacademy.org (the "Service"). By creating an account, submitting a video clip, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is designed for parents and guardians to manage shooting-form coaching on behalf of their athlete. Only a parent or guardian may create and control an account. Athletes do not sign up, log in, or manage their own account — a parent/guardian submits clips, receives breakdowns, and manages billing on the athlete's behalf, and by doing so represents that they are the athlete's parent or legal guardian and are at least 18 years old.

3. The Service

Through the Service, a parent/guardian can submit video or photo clips of their athlete's shooting form, receive a breakdown (diagnosis, correction notes, and annotated images or video) from their coach, and track progress over time. Coaching is offered under different plans (currently Starter, Rise, and All-Star), which vary in what's included; the specific inclusions for each plan are shown in your account.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription billing is currently handled outside the platform itself (not through this website), and the specific price and billing cadence for your plan will be communicated to you directly.

No refunds. Payments already made are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods.

Cancel anytime. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future billing — it does not retroactively refund amounts already charged. You'll continue to have access to paid features through the end of the period you already paid for.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the video clips, photos, and other content a parent/guardian submits ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant FTA a license to use, store, and display it as needed to provide the Service to you — for example, so your coach can view a submitted clip and deliver a breakdown back to you.

Coaching content our coaches create in response to Your Content — breakdowns, diagnosis notes, corrections, and annotated images or clips — belongs to FTA, but is made available to you through your account for your own use.

We will not use Your Content for marketing or promotional purposes (for example, an Instagram or YouTube post) unless you've separately opted in via the media-consent option available at signup, which is optional and can be withdrawn at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: upload content you don't have the right to share; use the Service to harass, harm, or endanger any person; attempt to access another family's account or another athlete's records; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. No guaranteed results; not medical advice

Coaching feedback provided through the Service is instructional in nature and reflects the coach's opinion. We don't guarantee any specific outcome, improvement, or result from using the Service. Nothing provided through the Service is medical, physical-therapy, or injury-diagnosis advice — if your athlete is dealing with pain or a possible injury, consult a qualified medical professional rather than relying on coaching feedback from the Service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, misuses the Service, or poses a risk to other users.

10. Changes to these Terms

If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify active accounts by email.

11. Contact
